Islam's Continuing Assualt on America Includes Reaching Disenfranchised Men

It is of little surprise anymore that the religion of Islam has declared war on world, especially the West. Regardless of the reasons they give for their hatred for us, the truth is their very holy book, the Qur'an calls for them to wage war against non believers of Allah. As we have seen, regardless of the times our leaders have appeased their demands, they continue to attack and infiltrate us from within.

A quick scan of the headlines everyday will show how they attack us, but they way they are infiltrating our culture is more insidious than many would realize. Islam is beginning to win more and more Western men over to their ways by giving them something they yearn. Something our culture is taking away from men that they need to feel whole and worthwhile. What Islam offers men is a sense of direction without taking away their manliness, and appealing to their basic instinct that the liberalization and feminization of our culture is just wrong.

This is the first of a three part report on Islam and how it has been able to persuade so many men in the West to pledge their allegiance to the false god of Islam, Allah. My first example of what makes Western men an easy target for Islam will be the American born Muslim terrorist sympathizer, Adam Gadahn. Adam is an excellent example of so many men in the West who are looking for answers to their spiritual questions. Unfortunately, too many times the Christianity young men are confronted with just reflects the very culture they are being turned off by. When Christians do not offer a contrast to the world they live in, then the world will begin changing them instead of them changing he world. That is what is going on in the West.

Many Christian ministries are nothing more then support groups that support the very heretical ideas the secular world demands from them. Thus the culture becomes more, and more debased as the church moves ever so closer to reflecting the world. Islam comes along and it offers drastic lines of right and wrong, and it does so in a way that allows men to see a difference between the world and what it teaches. What many men learn about Muslims, is that they have the same complaints about Western culture as they do.

Another aspect of this, is that the vast majority of men who gravitate to Islam, have none or very little experience as to what Christianity teaches other than what they learn in school, from movies, television, and what the MSM reports. That goes for what they know about Islam also. While the secular world is currently espousing the idea that it's only a few radicals that are involved in the terrorist attacks, many even think that Muslims worship the same God as do Christians and Jews. Adam's upbringing, and the journey he took that led him to al-Qaeda is very similar to what millions of men in the Western world are confronted with today. So no one should be shocked when a man gravitates to Islam instead of Christianity. After all, it's just another way to get to heaven. Besides, they're not expected to become a metrosexual, accept homosexuality as normal or listen to a woman preach to them from the pulpit. Adam's upbringing, and the journey he took that led him to al-Qaeda is very similar to what millions of men in the Western world are confronted with today.

The video with Adam Gadahn in it, was released to the public back on June 3, 2011. In it he calls for Muslims to purchase semi automatic weapons and start killing Americans. In the test box below I offer a few excerpts from the full version of the video, and below that is the relevant portion of the video. Then in the next text box is the journey Adam Took to his present day situation that has him living in Pakistan and making videos threatening America with a Jihad on our own soil as happened on 911. You will notice that, other than the initial report by the MSM when it was released, the media has never mentioned it again.

Over these past few years, I've seen the release of many, many Mujahideen whom I had never even dreamed would regain their freedom. Do Not Rely on Others, Take the Task Upon Yourself"   "Muslims in the West have to remember that they are perfectly placed to play an important and decisive part in the Jihad against the Zionists and crusaders, and to do major damage to the enemies of Islam, waging war on their religion, sacred places, and things, and brethren. This is a golden opportunity and a blessing."    "Let's take America as an example. America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms. You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle, without a background check, and most likely without having to show an identification card. So what are you waiting for?"    "Getting to influential public figures isn't as hard as you might think, I mean we've seen how a woman knocked the Pope to the floor during Christmas mass, and how Italian leader Berlusconi's face was smashed during a public appearance. So it's just a matter of entrusting the matter to Allah and choosing the right place, the right time, and the right method."    "If it's Allah's will that you be captured, then it's not the end the world, and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're going to spend the rest of your life in prison. Many mujahideen who were locked up are now back home with their families, or back on the frontlines, fighting the enemies."

The Genesis of Adam Yahiye Gadahn  Adam’s grandfather, the late Carl K. Pearlman, was a prominent Jewish urologist in Orange County who worked with various charities to aid Jews after World War II, according to a 1998 obituary in the Idyllwild Town Crier. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League, and he was also a zealous supporter of Israel. Adam's grandmother, Agnes Branch, was a Christian and an editor for the Christian Family Chronicles.   Their Son Philip, Adams father, was raised to be agnostic or atheist. As he got older he became somewhat of a free spirit and decided to get away from what he felt was the creeping influence of technology. So in the 1970s, he moved away from the big city and decided to buy a 40 acre ranch near Winchester in rural Riverside County to raised goats. Shortly after relocating there he changed his surname to Gadahn. Adam's was told growing up that the move had nothing to do with his parents conversion from Judaism to Christianity. He just needed a new start, where he could find himself and what he wanted.    In the late 1960s or early 1970s, he came across a Bible that someone had left on the Southern Californian beach and began reading the Old Testament. After read a good portion of it, he began to understand that their was such a thing as a God, and soon he became a true believer in God. However, he shied away from religious titles because he felt they all failed to describe what he felt. It wasn't long before he identified himself as a Universalist, but the more he explored the different types of religions he found himself drawn towards Islam. As he became acquainted with more Muslims, he was taught by some of them. As he gained friends who were Muslim, they taught him how to slaughter his goats in accordance with Islamic dietary practices. He soon became a halal butcher, or one who follows the Islamic Law. He began supplying milk, cheese and meat for a Muslim market in Los Angeles.    When Adam turned 17 in 1995 he most likely got tired of his parents odd hippie behavior. Although he was home schooled in a quasi-Christian environment introduced by his mother who was raised catholic, he was left to find what religion he wanted to follow on his own. However both his mother and father disavowed the teaching of the trinity, which would become a major factor in his rejection of Christianity. As he himdelf would write about later; "Setting aside the blind dogmatism and charismatic wackiness, it was quite a shock to me when I realized that these people, in their prayers, were actually praying TO JESUS. You see, I had always believed that Jesus (pbuh) was, at the very most, the Son of God (since that is what the Bible mistranslates “Servant of God” as). As I learned that belief in the Trinity, something I find absolutely ridiculous, is considered by most Christians to be a prerequisite for salvation, I gradually realized I could not be a Christian." When Adam turned 17 in 1995 he most likely got tired of his parents odd hippie behavior. What with growing up with no modern conveniences like electricity, indoor plumbing, television, and other modern technological advances he saw his friends living with, the boy was tired of living in the past. Which is quite interesting in that he eventually gravitated to a religion that is stuck in the dark ages. So like many children who rebel against their parents weird ways, Adam decided to run to the big city his father fled, and stayed with relatives. While there he began listening to Christian talk radio for spiritual guidance. Interesting that he wrote how the the fundamentalist teachings touched his soul in a way that made him feel good for the first time. He had a longing to fill a void in his soul, and he revived it from the word. However, he soon became disappointed by the teachings of the brand of Christianity he was hearing. He was unable to justify what he heard with what he learned as a child under his father about original sin. He could not accept the concept of original sin, and the infallibility of God's world. Sad that he had been listening to bad doctrine, because while God is infallible, the world is very fallible, and that is why we needed Christ to become our gateway to God. Adam said that He eventually moved to Santa Ana with his grandparents, and worked at there store where he had access to the internet. He found some newsgroups that discussed religion and found himself reading the discussions on Islam, and soon he found himself accepting the teachings as something that was more inline with what he thought made sense. "I began to look for something else to hold onto, but once I was able to look online I found some Islamic teachings that fit my personal theology and intellect, as well as basic human logic." By late 1995, Adam had converted the Islamic faith and he began studying at the Islamic Society of Orange County under Haitham Bundakji. Eventually he became good friends with a group of young men who began believing in the original intent of Muḥammad's teachings in the Quran. Soon they were all expelled from the mosque and denied permission to meet anywhere on the mosque property. Eventually they began harassing the mosques chairman for his outreach programs that involved discussions with Jews and Christians. They would print fliers that called cleric, Haitham Bundakji, "Danny the Jew" because he dressed in Western clothes and was too friendly with Jews for their liking.    Shortly after converting to Islam, Adam posted an essay to the USC website describing his conversion, entitled "Becoming a Muslim." According to his parents, he was arrested and convicted of assaulting the cleric Haitham Bundakji, in May 1997. He served two days in jail, but his failure to do the 40 hours of community service led the police to issue a warrant for his arrest that is still active.    By 1998 Gadahn moved to Pakistan where he married an Afghan refugee and maintained intermittent contact with his family until March 2001, when all contact with his family stopped. He told his parents he had been working as a journalist while in Pakistan spending time in both Karachi and Peshawar, presumably a euphemism for his media propaganda efforts for al-Qaeda.    Adam has appeared in several earlier videos, including a documentary that has been a favorite amongst Muslims called, "Knowledge is for Acting Upon" that is presented in two parts (part 1) (part 2). This is a very high quality film that traces the organization from its genesis among the anti-Soviet Mujahaddin in Afghanistan through its establishment of training camps around the world to its defining moment, the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and Washington. He has also been in videos that have surfaced in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and now the most recent video above, that was released to news organizations on June 3, 2011.    While Adam Gadahn has been rumored to have been killed several times, he is obviously still alive and threatening America. Adam is one of the FBI's most wanted and as such they have him listed on their terrorist watch list with an offer of a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest.

We learn from Proverbs 22:6, that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it. Well, as you read, Adam's father read the bible, but he never truly understood it.  What he and his wife did was what most hippies did in the 1970s, they thought it was up to their son to find his own way to the truth. So while his son did gravitate to the same religion his father chose, he ended up looking for answers on his own, and found pure evil on the way. Sadly Adam's future was aided in it's course to hell when he moved in with his grandparents. The very people who raised his father to be agnostic, now gave him the tool and encouragement to find his own religion online. Now the grandson of Carl K. Pearlman is a member of a religion that is not only waging war against his adoptive country, but is also hell bent on exterminating his very own ancestors.

A child's brain is nothing but mush that must be molded, and it is our job as the parent to introduce them to God so that He can help us mold them in is image. However, if a child is not introduced to Christ and given proper direction, they will inevitably find their own way. This is becoming a big problem in Western societies where parents are refusing to push their beliefs upon their children. Many Christian parents fail to read the Word to their children on a daily basis, let alone force them to attend Sunday School.

Eventually when the children enter their teens, the parents wonder why they have lost touch with their children. They don't understand why their child has the friends they have, or why it is they decided to follow a religion other than what they were raised on. Well, the truth is they were never raised on the precepts of Christ, so they have no idea what to follow.  A child left to find themselves and what it is they will follow spiritually, is but a mind full of mush that Satan has every intention of molding in his image.
